In this screen the user can create new or edit/delete existing portfolio attributes. The attributes can then be selected in the calculation set. To match the attributes to portfolios an import is required. To add a new attribute the user needs to press the ‘Add’ button and enter the attribute name, type and external code.
Versioning of attributes
Attributes may change over time, so versioning can be done for all attribute types except the type ‘date’.
Attributes creation and modification within the portfolio can be done via Import or via the User Interface. If imported, it is possible to modify the start and end date of the attribute. To see the attributes valid at a given date, the user can enter the relevant date on top of the attribute section. The versions in place at that date will then come up.
